Optiflow™ Junior 2 Nasal Interface

The Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface is a non-sealing nasal interface specifically designed for the flow requirements and anatomical features of neonates, infants, and children on nasal high flow (NHF) therapy. NHF offers a range of benefits compared to standard oxygen therapy, and there are several mechanisms of action associated with this treatment, including airway hydration and reduction of anatomical dead space.

Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface features

Waveflex™ technology for prong stability and easier readjustment

The Optiflow Junior 2 cannula uses Waveflex technology to allow for natural facial movement when a patient’s cheeks are compressed. This improves prong stability in the nostrils.

Wide range of sizes and flow ranges

Optiflow Junior 2 offers a range of five cannula sizes with flow ranges from 0.5 to 25 L/min to provide respiratory support for even your smaller patients.

Wigglepads™ 2 allow for easy application and adjustment of the cannula

Wigglepads 2 retains the same technology as the original Wigglepads and applies it to unique shape of the Optiflow Junior 2 cannula.

Optiflow Junior 2 uses FlexiTube to minimize condensate build-up

The FlexiTube is made with a breathable material to reduce condensate build-up by allowing water vapor to diffuse through the membrane to the outside of the tubing.

Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface Ventilator Transition Kit

The Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface Ventilator Transition Kit allows patients to receive NHF therapy for postextubation support – without changing the invasive circuit. The ability to keep the invasive circuit in place allows for easy trialing of NHF.

Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface Blender Transition Kit

The Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface Blender Transition Kit allows patients to receive NHF therapy as an alternative to prolonged continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy – without changing the CPAP circuit.

WigglewiNG™

The F&P WigglewiNG can be used in conjunction with the Optiflow Junior 2 Nasal Interface and Optiflow Junior 2+ Nasal Interface range to stabilize a nasogastric (NG) tube to the patient, while maintaining the ability to remove or reposition the interface if necessary.
