SLE5000 ventilator![]() The smallest thing does matter... There are still some neonates who cannot be adequately ventilated with even the most sophisticated conventional ventilation. Indeed, using conventional ventilation with higher rates and airway pressures has often led to an increased incidence of barotrauma and lung tissue damage. High Frequency Oscillation (HFO) has been shown to overcome this problem whilst still allowing excellent gaseous exchange. A proven techniqueDeveloped in cooperation with nurses and doctors, the SLE5000 uses a unique valveless system that gives both a manageable range of HFO parameters plus the ability to have ‘active exhalation’ Of course, the SLE5000 still has all of the conventional ventilation modes meaning that it can be used on virtually any baby in the NICU User InterfaceSLE has always worked hard to make our ventilators easier to use. Essential functions are never more than a couple of button pushes away. Our own research has shown that users find it much easier to use a ventilator if there are fewer sub-menus. By reducing the number of menus and sub-menus the SLE5000 is even easier to use when time is critical. The SLE5000 has a high resolution colour touch-screen that is your interface to all the ventilator controls and functions, but in addition allows you to access many new features including trends and dynamic loops. The SLE5000 also features parameter presetting, meaning that you can choose a ventilation mode and set up all parameter values before accepting these and confirming the mode change. Fully FeaturedModes include: CPAP, CMV+ TTVplus, PTV, PSV, SIMV+ TTVplus + PSV, HFO, HFO+CMV. Plus, the SLE5000 gives you:
Can be used with the SLE INOSYS, Nitric Oxide System. SLE4000 ventilator![]()
The SLE4000 ventilator is the benchmark in conventional infant/paediatric ventilators. Touch screen control and a comprehensive range of ventilation modalities and monitoring modes make the SLE4000 the choice ventilator for today's demanding NICU environment.
Can be used with the SLE INOSYS, Nitric Oxide System. SLE2000 HFO ventilator![]()
The SLE2000HFO, takes the best of the SLE2000 features and enhances them with the addition of High Frequency Oscillation Ventilation (HFOV). Active expiration ensures high performance of HFO across a wide weight range.
Can be used with the SLE INOSYS, Nitric Oxide System. SLE2000 ventilator![]()
The SLE2000 is one of the world’s most widely used infant specific ventilators. It has a concise range of modalities for conventional ventilation.
Can be used with the SLE INOSYS, Nitric Oxide System. SLE1000 ventilator![]() The SLE1000 is a revolutionary new CPAP machine: a servo-controlled CPAP unit with intelligent alarms and modern electronics. The new SLE1000 incorporates a complete rethink of the way CPAP is delivered. Using modern technology, it allows the user to set the desired pressure, and make the driver do all the hard work of adjusting the flow. The new SLE1000 is designed to be easier to set up and to use. The servo-controlled flow ensures a more consistent pressure even when the baby is moving a lot. Using computer-controlled feedback means that the Work of Breathing (WoB) is kept to a minimum and can cope with varying leaks. Staff are finding that once they’ve set the CPAP level, the machine can accurately track it, leaving them to get on with caring for the baby and not spending all of their time adjusting the equipment. SLE Inosys![]() The Inosys Nitric Oxide (NO) delivery and monitoring system is specifically designed for use with constant flow type (infant) ventilators. Used in conjunction with ventilation to treat infant respiratory diseases such as Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension (PPHN). The device will maintain a set constant flow into the patient ventilator circuit, to ensure a constant therapeutic dose of Nitric Oxide. Built in safety monitoring systems ensure the prescribed dose is constantly monitored and maintained. Oxygen Blenders![]() SLE are pleased to represent the Biomed Devices Inc range of NeO2 blenders designed for use in the NICU environment. Low flow and Very Low flow blenders for delivering flows of less than 1 lpm. Designed for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, it comes with two integral flowmeters. The flowmeter on the left side is for flows from 1 to 15 LPM. The right side flowmeter can be either 0 to 1.0 LPM , 0 to 3.5 LPM or 0 to 15 lpm depending on the version ordered. Unlike other blenders, the NEO2 BLEND allows you to turn off the low flow gas bleed without disconnecting anything from the blender thus saving time, aggravation, gas and ultimately, money. This means the blender is always ready to use. Specifications
Oxygen: % 21 - 100% Choice of models to suit all NICU requirements Medicart Trolleys![]() SLE trolleys are custom-made to support SLE products. Designed to withstand the rigours of hospital life the heavy-duty trolleys are manufactured in aluminium and powder-coated to improve resistance to liquids and abrasion. The robust construction and large castors (2 locking) allow easy manoeuvrability in a busy unit. A versatile mounting system allows for a wide range of accessories to be fitted, inclusing a medi-rail, basket, drip pole, handle and cable hook. The range includes: Medicart 4Suitable for the SLE1000 nCPAP driver. Features a 4-star base with 4 castors (2 lockable), handle, hose hook, medi-rail, basket, mounting plate and a drip pole as standard. Medicart 5Designed to accommodate the SLE4000 and SLE5000 ventilators. Medicart 5iSpecially made for the SLE INOSYS Nitric Oxide system, and able to carry two Nitric Oxide cylinders. Medical Grade Compressors![]() The SLE350 and SLE500 Air Compressors are an ideal air source for all SLE ventilators when piped-in compressed air is not available or when you need a back-up air source for added protection.
